Le Gagie Barbera d'Asti
This vineyard has been producing high-quality wines since the 19th century, particularly focusing on the Barbera grape. With great passion and dedication, they create wines that perfectly balance terroir, innovation, and tradition. They offer three types of Barbera: Vitis (made from young vines), Gagie (made from older vines), and Bricco Sereno (from grapes grown on a hill).
The color of this wine is intense, with thick tears along the glass. The initial aroma reveals a blend of gingerbread, cloves, and dried flowers, but as you swirl your glass, fruity and woody notes also emerge. On the palate, this wine is a true delight, showcasing the use of top-quality grapes. The acidity is perfectly integrated with the fruit and tannins.
This wine pairs beautifully with pasta, risotto, roasted meats, poultry, or cheese.
